1إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ
82|1|When the sky breaks apart.
2وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ
82|2|When the planets are scattered.
3وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
82|3|When the oceans are exploded.
4وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
82|4|When the tombs are strewn around.
5عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
82|5|Each soul will know what it has advanced, and what it has deferred.
6يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
82|6|O man! What deluded you concerning your Lord, the Most Generous?
7الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
82|7|He Who created you, and formed you, and proportioned you?
8فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ
82|8|In whatever shape He willed, He assembled you.
9كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
82|9|But you reject the religion.
10وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
82|10|Though over you are watchers.
11كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ
82|11|Honest recorders.
12يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
82|12|They know everything you do.
13إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
82|13|The virtuous will be in bliss.
14وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ
82|14|While the wicked will be in Hell.
15يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
82|15|They will enter it on the Day of Justice.
16وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ
82|16|And they will not be absent from it.
17وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
82|17|But what will convey to you what the Day of Justice is?
18ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
82|18|Then again, what will convey to you what the Day of Justice is?
19يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
82|19|The Day when no soul will avail another soul anything; and the decision on that Day is God’s.
